For eight years Mexico City-based photographer Jake Naughton and his partner Juan Anibal Sosa Iglesias documented their relationship as part of a collaborative photography project. The culmination of their efforts, their first book When We Were Strangers deconstructs love through the prism of their union and grants a close-up look at a queer relationship in all its nuance and complexity.
