Finn Grey Paul is a California-based experimental filmmaker, photographer and curator whose work explores trans sexual expression and desires.
Sissy Screens Photo Editor Parker Blain interviewed Finn when he was a guest of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, curating the shorts series ‘Desires and Resistance | Unearthing Trans Legacies’. The series premiered at Outfest 2018 and includes his own film beside the water, 1999-2003. In this video essay, the artist as narrator deftly mixes up sexual discovery, community formation and desert landscapes in a collection of erotic snapshots.
